Week 9 Review

I thought this was a very cool diagram that has all of the letters and numerals being able to be written from this. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

Week 8 Review

I found this announcement to be very funny! People forget how much punctuation brings to a sentence/paragraph. I kept going back and forth from the top and bottom paragraph. I especially liked the line "Admit to being useless and inferior". I thought it was extremely funny because it compared to the originally line "people who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior". I sometimes struggle with punctuation, so I will continue to work on this aspect of my writing.

Week 7 Review

This was my favorite weekly announcement! I find this to very important in every aspect of people's life. It is hard to stay focused and not be discouraged by things that do not work out perfectly. If I face any challenges I will make sure to think of this funny picture! Lol.

Week 6 Review

This was my favorite announcement from the past week because of the meaning behind it. It is vital to put in the hardwork before you can have anything you want. In life, nothing is given to you and if you want something, you must work for it.

Week 5 Review

This was my favorite announcement from the past week because I am a huge scary movie guy. I am from Texas so I am a little biased in saying that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a great movie. I recently watched Psycho and Bates Motel so I think Arizona has my favorite scary movie for sure!

Week 4 Review

This was my favorite announcement for this week. It is funny that people in the Middle Ages actually did the same things as we do nowadays. This may be why the Romans created the Roman Numeral numbering abbreviations. It would allow for people to quickly communicate without wasting too much time. I wonder if people will look back at some of our documents and find our abbreviations to by historically important.

Week 3 Review

My favorite weekly announcement was the one you see above. I find that people sometimes wait for people to give them the tools to be successful. I was raised to work hard and make my own success.

Thanks for reading everyone!

Week 2 Announcement Review

Below is one of my favorite announcements from this past week. I felt that the words of wisdom are very funny and interesting. Also, this makes me curious about the other course Myth-Folklore. I feel that I would also really enjoy reading those epics and writing those stories!

Thanks for reading!

Week 1 Review

Phonetically Defined Words

I really enjoyed this post from the past week's announcements. My favorite was either the hammock or the stilted.

Also, I enjoyed seeing a post about George Orwell and his book the Animal Farm. I read this book in middle school and I really enjoyed all of the connections to real people in the Russian Revolution, including Joseph Stalin as a pig! If you have not read this book, I highly recommend it. I have not yet read Nineteen Eighty-Four but I will definitely add that to my list!
